WeSmile Centers — Custom Magnetic Rigid Box for Luxury Clear Aligner Packaging

When WeSmile Centers first approached us, they weren’t just looking for a box.
They were looking for a way to welcome their patients into a premium orthodontic journey—from the moment the clear aligner kit is handed over, right up to the day that final smile is revealed.

We knew exactly what they meant.

Understanding Their Vision

WeSmile is a high-end orthodontic brand specializing in clear aligners. Their aligner kits include multiple sets of trays, accessories, and instructions—items that need secure, organized storage while still delivering a sense of luxury.

From our first conversation, we could already picture the solution:
A custom magnetic rigid box—sturdy enough to protect delicate orthodontic products, elegant enough to reflect the WeSmile brand, and practical enough to be reused long after treatment is over.

Designing the Experience

We started by selecting 2.5mm rigid greyboard for its strength and shape retention. This ensures that no matter how many times the box is opened and closed, it keeps its perfect form.

For the surface, we chose a matte black laminated finish—smooth to the touch, resistant to scratches, and instantly communicating professionalism.
The WeSmile gold logo was hot foil stamped onto the lid so that it catches the light the moment the box is opened. Around it, we added flowing gold line details—subtle, elegant curves inspired by the shape of a perfect smile.

We hid a magnetic closure within the lid, so the opening feels smooth and seamless, with just the right amount of resistance before it clicks shut again.

Inside the Box

The interior was designed with precision. White EVA foam inserts cradle each aligner set, keeping them secure and preventing movement during transportation. There’s space for accessories and patient instructions, all neatly arranged so nothing feels cluttered.

When patients open the box for the first time, they see everything perfectly in place—a visual confirmation of care, precision, and trustworthiness.
